Carson v. Dept. of Veterans Affairs: Too Many Judges on the Federal Circuit?, “EXHIBIT A”

April 11, 2016| in Wegner's Writings| by Hal Wegner

Today in Carson v. Dept. of Veterans Affairs, __ Fed. App’x __ (Fed. Cir. 2016)(per curiam)(Moore, Bryson, Reyna, JJ.), the panel manifested a Federal Circuit with too many judges as it once again issues an opinion without any precedential value where the bulk of the opinion recites the history of the case which is already known to the parties.

A more detailed explanation is found in the pdf version of this note which also has attached a yellow highlight-marked copy of the opinion showing matters entirely unnecessary for a nonprecedential opinion.

Hal
