Please join the LAIPLA Women in IP Committee for a virtual speed mentoring session to learn more about our members’ various fields of practice. In this informal setting, we will hear from women IP attorneys who work in-house or at firms of all sizes and who focus their practice on patents, trademark, copyright, or privacy. Young attorneys and law students will get an opportunity to ask more experienced attorneys questions about their practice, the pros and cons of different career paths, work-life balance, and practical advice for succeeding as an IP attorney. This will also be an excellent opportunity for attorneys of any level of experience who are interested in changing the focus of their practice or making a career move to get insight and advice from other practitioners who have done the same. Following the group discussion, attendees will have the opportunity to discuss various practice areas further in break-out rooms.
