Sequenom v. Ariosa (con’d): Questioning the Question Presented

March 23, 2016| in Wegner's Writings| by Hal Wegner

Three questions have been raised concerning the controversial Question Presented in the Sequenom petition:

(a) “What is the new combination of known techniques?”
(b) “What is the previously impossible result?”
(c) Where does one “preempt[ ] other uses” of any DNA in a test where the object, as here, is to identify known DNA.

The pdf version of this note provides additional information.

Regards,
Hal
