Andrei Iancu, a longtime leader in the patent field, has now been confirmed by the Senate.
Installation as Director Expected Shortly: Senate confirmation is the last major step on the way to installation as the Director of the PTO. Director-designate Iancu is expected to be sworn into office in the near future.
