Nancy Lynn Schroeder is an IP litigator in the Los Angeles office of WilmerHale. Nancy focuses her practice on patent litigation involving biotechnology, medical device, pharmaceutical, and biologic patents, and she has represented plaintiffs and defendants from pre-litigation investigation through trial. She is also registered to practice before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and has brought and defended inter partes reviews and ex parte re-examinations in parallel with her litigation matters. Nancy has worked with several pro bono clients in sex- and labor trafficking cases and immigration matters.
A Boston native, Nancy graduated in 2002 from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with dual degrees in Chemical Engineering and Biology, and worked in the biotech industry until changing tracks to law. She graduated cum laude from Boston University School of Law in 2011, where she was the Managing Editor of the Boston University Law Review, a Legal Writing Fellow, and G. Joseph Tauro Scholar.
