Bita Rahebi is an intellectual property litigation partner in the Los Angeles office of Morrison & Foerster. She has litigated a wide variety of high-technology matters, and provides strategic direction to global clients in U.S. District Courts and before the International Trade Commission. Representing both plaintiffs and defendants in all phases of litigation, Bita has led clients through pre-filing investigations, Markman hearings, summary judgments, trials, and appeal with successful results. In addition to her litigation practice, she advises clients on strategic patent licensing issues. Bita has tried criminal jury matters with the Los Angeles City Attorney’s Office.
Bita received her B.A., magna cum laude, in 1996, from the University of California, Berkeley, where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. She earned her J.D. in 2000 from the University of California, Los Angeles, where she was an editor of the UCLA Law Review.
Bita is the LAIPLA’s Board Liaison for the Diversity Fellowship, Spring Seminar, and Federal Circuit Visit committees.
