What is the line between fair use and copyright infringement these days?  Can an artist safely use or incorporate another’s work in a creative manner in his or her own work, or is there a clear trend in the courts to reject the fair use defense in such works in light of the Second Circuit’s March 26, 2021 decision in The Andy Warhol Foundation v. Goldsmith, and the Ninth Circuit’s recent decision in Dr. Seuss Enterprises, L.P. v. Comic Mix LLC?  And what effect will the Supreme Court’s April 5 decision in Google v.
