This week the Supreme Court granted review in Top Ten No. (2) TC Heartland, LLC v. Kraft Foods Group Brands LLC, Supreme Court No. 16-341, where petitioner challenges the ability of patentees to sue infringers in Marshall (Texas) for many situations.
A decision may come as early as just prior to the end of the current Term that runs through June 2017.
