The email (below) was sent to a large group of persons in the IP field (names omitted, here), from “TC Williams”. The person is someone I don’t know and therefore someone I can’t say he or she is or is not a credible source. Because his or her email was circulated to a wide range of leaders, this note is merely to bring everyone up to date on the latest story going around the patent community that may or may not be credible.
Presumably, someone will determine whether Mr. or Ms. Williams is a credible source of information and report on this in the press.
(If Ms. Lee does stay, this would be a major surprise to those who have predicted she would leave the Office.)
This writer takes no position, here, whether Ms. Lee should or should not stay at the PTO.
