A highly reliable source has said that there is to be an imminent departure of someone from the leadership of the Patent Office.
Whither Director Michelle Lee? Whether the exit vel non is of the head of the Agency is unclear. It would be expected that prior to the Presidential election that the Director would, in any event, offer her pro forma resignation (which would not necessarily be accepted).
